London Brent Cross (LON01)

A 90MW data centre campus in the heart of London.
Our Brent Cross campus was acquired in 2020. The project has full planning permission and power secured for 90MW. Building 1 (20MW) is fully operational with four data halls, and Building 2 (70MW) is currently under construction.
The site has planning permission for what will be one of the world’s largest living walls. Over 750,000 plants will wrap around Building 2 to reduce noise and air pollution, as well as encourage biodiversity of insects and birds next to Brent Reservoir’s Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).
LON01 has achieved its Platinum zero-waste-to-landfill certificate and uses hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) in place of diesel for our backup generators. Over the initial period of construction we expect to invest over £1 billion, boosting the local economy and employment.

Community
Along with A Healthier Earth and Viritopia, we’ve donated a living wall to St Robert Southwell RC, a local Primary School in Brent, to educate pupils about nature and climate action.
Three Tiny Forests have been planted in partnership with Earthwatch Europe and Barnet Council, and we’re supporting local school garden/allotment projects through Seeds for Growth. Around Brent and North West London we've also conducted a series of school visits and jobs fairs to promote careers in STEM and the data centre sector.
