Finland Seinäjoki (SJK01)

A 550MW+ AI campus in western Finland
Seinäjoki is home to Pure DC’s largest campus project. Set across 370 acres, SJK01 has the potential to scale beyond 550MW. Design of the data halls is based around repeatable 40MW AI-ready modules for high-density AI and machine learning workloads, with the halls supporting both air and direct liquid cooling. The site has access to 700MVA of renewable power, supported by Finland’s stable grid, attractive energy pricing, and natural cooling. When fully developed the campus will have seen over €7.5 billion of investment, making it one of Europe’s largest AI infrastructure developments, and the largest ever investment by a British company into Finland.
Phase 1 of the development is already fully leased and will deliver 110MW of IT capacity, backed by an investment exceeding €1.5 billion. Development of Phase 1 is underway, with the substation for the first data hall already operational. Developed alongside our local partner SDC Ventures, the project is expected to support over 1,500 construction jobs during its first phase and upwards of 3,000 jobs across the wider development.
