About us
Founded in 2021, A Healthier Earth initially focused on using natural biological processes - like algae or microbes - to capture carbon dioxide from industrial emissions before it could reach the atmosphere.
Today, our solutions address three key challenges:
Decarbonising digital infrastructure
Advancing climate adaptation and resilience
Producing high-quality carbon removals
As the R&D subsidiary of Pure DC Group, we're solving large-scale sustainability infrastructure challenges.
Together, we combine strengths:
A Healthier Earth bringing climate innovation and specialist environmental expertise...
...while Pure DC provides the scale, operational insight and infrastructure capabilities to turn our projects into commercial, real-world solutions.
Our approach to partnership
Our impact grows when we work alongside ambitious organisations.
Together, we share expertise, skills, and resources to make a bigger difference. Through this partnership approach, we bring deep scientific knowledge, access to capital, and a global footprint - enabling us to test and scale large infrastructure projects and engage capital-rich industries and investors.
Our partnership model is flexible, ranging from joint ventures to self-funded collaborations that deliver mutual value. A standout example is our partnership with Blenheim Palace on ForestFactory®. We contribute plant and climate science expertise, commercial insight, and the capital to test and scale the concept, while Blenheim provides a UNESCO World Heritage Site as a testing ground, alongside forestry and land management experts.

Tackling the world’s most complex climate challenges takes more than ambition – it requires a team that blends scientific innovation with the ability to scale real-world solutions.
We are a multidisciplinary group from academia, large blue-chip organisations, institutional investors, and start-ups, united by a shared purpose to drive meaningful climate impact through innovation, collaboration, and execution.
Our work was initially rooted in helping decarbonise digital infrastructure beyond reducing carbon emitted from the building of data centres. Since then, our remit has expanded significantly. With a team of bold thinkers dedicated to R&D, we now deliver nature-based solutions through large-scale infrastructure projects that are focused on carbon removal and forestry.
Our team brings together expertise in science, engineering, environmental management, and project delivery, which is combined with Pure DC’s strength in infrastructure and investment – offering a diverse range of perspectives and experience.
This drives us to constantly explore new ideas, applications, and approaches that push boundaries, extending our impact into other areas like climate adaptation and urban regeneration. Together, we’re developing solutions for a healthier earth.
