Pure DC begins final build phase of its 90MW LON01 Brent Cross campus
Pure Data Centres Group (Pure DC), one of the fastest growing hyperscale cloud and AI infrastructure platforms across Europe and the Middle East, has today announced the start of its final major build phase in the +£1 billion development of its LON01 Brent Cross campus in North London. General contractor, Glencar has commenced piling works for the West Shell of the 70MW LON01B2 facility. The development will extend the campus by over 23,000sqm and bring total capacity to 90MW. Completion of the wider B2 facility is scheduled for Q2 2029.
LON01 will deliver a next-generation, closed-loop, liquid-cooled data centre capable of supporting high density AI inference and cloud workloads. Designed for long-term resilience, LON01 incorporates sustainable design including use of recycled steel and low carbon components.

After completion of B2, the site will be home to one of the world’s largest living walls. Over 750,000 plants will wrap around B2 to reduce noise and air pollution, as well as encourage biodiversity of insects and birds next to Brent Reservoir’s Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).
Glencar’s scope includes delivery of the West Cold Shell, incorporating piling and foundations, underground services and associated works, structural frame and connections to the adjacent East Cold Shell, concrete and slab works, stair cores, building envelope and roofing.
