2025 marked another transformational year for Pure Data Centres Group (“Pure DC”) as we strengthened our position as one of Europe’s leading hyperscale data centre developers. Revenue grew by 57%, we secured planning consent for projects across multiple European markets, accelerated momentum across our development and operations portfolio, and continued to deliver on our ‘data centres for good’ philosophy.

Operational growth

Pure DC continued to strengthen and scale its unique operating model in 2025. The year culminated in the largest standalone hyperscale lease of 2025 at our Amsterdam campus, demonstrating our ability to deliver highly complex projects at scale. We also secured planning consent for projects across multiple European markets and further strengthened our development pipeline through the announcement of our joint venture with SEGRO to develop a c.£1.5 billion data centre campus at Royal Park, London.

Beyond Europe, we reached another significant milestone by transitioning our Abu Dhabi campus into operations for our hyperscale customer, becoming the first data centre developer from outside the GCC region to successfully deliver a project of this kind.

Continued investment in sustainable infrastructure

Sustainability remained central to Pure DC’s growth strategy. During the year, we announced a £24 million investment to develop the UK’s largest biochar carbon removal facility, further reducing emissions across our portfolio. Pure DC also saw significant progress in the construction of Europe’s first data centre microgrid at our Dublin campus. Capable of providing dispatchable on-site power during the early development phases of the campus, the system is designed for long-term hybrid operation with the national grid, enhancing resilience and supporting the accelerated delivery of AI-ready capacity.

Pure DC also maintained excellent safety performance throughout 2025, successfully meeting all Safety, Sustainability and ESG metrics. We achieved a CDP score of B – the highest rating available for SMEs – and retained our EcoVadis Silver rating. Operational performance also remained strong, with zero waste to landfill certifications extended across multiple sites.

Industry recognition

The high standards we adopt were recognised internationally, with Pure DC continuing our winning streak from 2024 and securing several industry-wide awards:

  • Data Centre World: Security in Tech Award
  • IJ Global Awards: Digital Infrastructure Deal of the Year for our Abu Dhabi Data Centre
  • DCS Awards
  • Data Centre Safety & Security Innovation of the Year
  • Emerging Talent Award
  • Data Centre Dynamics: Middle East & Africa Data Centre Project of the Year for our Abu Dhabi project
Market outlook: Strong demand, delivery challenges

We continue to operate in a high-growth market, with strong customer demand across every market in our portfolio. As in 2024, new supply continues to be constrained by limited power availability, planning and regulatory challenges, and higher financing costs.

As these trends continue, we expect the market to favour experienced hyperscale developers with the expertise to unlock complex, supply-constrained sites. This is where Pure DC has consistently differentiated itself, and we remain well positioned to deliver the next generation of hyperscale infrastructure across Europe and beyond.

Looking ahead

In 2026, Pure DC is focused on delivering low-carbon, resource-efficient data centre infrastructure to support the continued growth of digital and AI capacity. We remain committed to embedding practical sustainability measures across our developments while creating long-term value for the communities in which we operate.

Our approach to power also continues to evolve. Over the past year, our utility strategy has shifted from one centred solely on energy consumption to one based on active partnership with grid operators, exemplified by the development of the microgrid at our Dublin campus. We look forward to deepening our engagement with Transmission and Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) across our international development pipeline, leveraging our deep technical expertise to help accelerate the delivery of resilient digital infrastructure.
